Nomogram for Predicting Bone Development State of Female Children and Adolescents–A Fast Screening Approach Based on Pubes Stages for Growth and Development

Objective: To develop a nomogram for predicting bone development state (BDS) of female children and adolescents in large scale. Methods: Four hundred forty-seven students were designated as the training cohort to predictive model, whereas 196 used validation verify established model. Bone age, height, body mass, fat percentage, secondary sexual characteristics recorded, BDS was determined with chronological age age. Multivariate logistic regression conducted determine factors, developed validated cohorts, respectively. Results: One identified abnormal (32.9%), 104 (53.1%). Age, weight, pubes stage selected A showed good estimation, C-index 0.78 calibration cohort. Application similar 0.75 calibration.
